About Roboosh.ae

Roboosh.ae is the Gulf edition of ROBOOSH, an independent publication about living with robots. It answers one question for people in the Emirates: which robots can you actually own here, what do they cost in dirhams, and what are they like to live with.

What we do

We keep a page on each of 36 robots, humanoids and mini robots, with a UAE status on every one: sold by a UAE retailer, shipped by an official store, available through a named distributor, seen in the country but not for sale, or not available yet. 27 of them can be ordered today. Every entry carries the price we saw, the page we saw it on, and the date we looked.

Around them sit 16 articles on buying, renting, importing and seeing humanoid robots in the Gulf, a comparison of every humanoid on one table, and a calendar of 33 confirmed robotics and AI events across the region with a feed you can subscribe to.

How we check

A price is published only when it was read on a live retailer or distributor page, in a browser, on the date shown. A landed-cost figure is labelled as an estimate and the sum is shown. An event date is confirmed only when the organiser or the venue has published it; otherwise it is marked expected, and it never enters the calendar feed. When a figure is not published, we say so rather than fill the gap.

Prices and stock move. Each robot page shows when it was last checked, and the links open the page we read, so you can see for yourself.

What we are not

We are not a maker, a dealer, a rental company or a lab. We do not sell robots, we hold no stock, and no maker or dealer pays for placement. Retailers and distributors are named because a reader needs to know who sells what, not because of any arrangement with them. Photographs of robots are the makers' own press images, used to show the product, and each one says so.

The Gulf List

Our one mailing list is for people who own, or are seriously considering, a robot in the Emirates. It sends a short note when a model reaches a UAE dealer, when a price moves, or when the region gets something first. No more than twice a month. Join it here.
