What it does

  • Fully electric humanoid, 1.9 metres tall and 90 kilograms, with 56 joints and a 2.3 metre reach
  • Lifts 50 kilograms in a single move and 30 kilograms continuously, and swaps its own battery
  • Rated IP67 and specified from minus 20 to plus 40 degrees, with touch sensing and cameras all round
  • Sequences parts, tends machines and builds orders, reading barcodes as it goes
  • Works autonomously, by teleoperation or from a tablet, and detects people without a safety fence

Reality check

Nobody in the Emirates can buy one today. Boston Dynamics publishes no price and no way to order, and the whole of 2026 production is committed to Hyundai's own plant and to Google DeepMind, with other customers expected from early 2027. The company does have a UAE partner, Analog in Abu Dhabi, appointed in October 2025, but that agreement is about the four-legged Spot and mentions no humanoid. Every Atlas price in circulation is somebody's estimate, not a figure the maker has confirmed.
