Where we found it
What it does
- Rolls around the home, asks to be picked up and warms to body temperature
- Recognises up to 1,000 people, reacts with eye animations and sounds
- Half-body camera and sensors; self-docks in its 'nest'
Reality check
Overseas buyers pay a lifetime lump sum through the BEX purchasing service, plus shipping and UAE duty, and GROOVE X gives no overseas support, so a repair means sending it back to Japan. We could not open the BEX terms page, so treat UAE shipping as reported, not confirmed.
Availability and price checked 26 September 2026. Retailers change stock without telling anyone; the links above open the page we saw.
The Gulf List
Join and the Gulf Robot Report 2026 arrives by email. After that, a short letter when a new model reaches a UAE dealer, when a price moves, and when the region gets something first. No more than twice a month.
