What it does
- Full-size research humanoid, 1.78 metres and about 70 kilograms
- Seven joints in each arm and two in each ankle, 27 in all, for steadier walking and more reach than the original H1
- Arms rated for about 7 kilograms each, 21 at peak, and able to take Unitree's Dex5-1 dexterous hand
- 3D lidar and a depth camera in the head for 360-degree sensing
Reality check
Like the H1, this is a platform for labs and integrators, not a household robot. Ednex, Unitree's distributor in Dubai, offers the H1 and H1-2 on the same page and publishes no dirham price. Unitree shows no price either and no longer lists the H1-2 in its online shop, so expect a quotation and a lead time. Unitree also warns that the shipping version can look different from the website, so ask exactly what will arrive.
