KAYI Robotic (UAE). Rents robots for events and offers robot-as-a-service subscriptions to hospitals, hotels and facility-management companies. Its own 2026 pricing guide explains the structure: daily rates for short exhibitions, discounted monthly rates under long-term contracts, and a RaaS fee that includes hardware, updates, maintenance and immediate replacement. It also states the purchase alternative at AED 50,000 to over AED 200,000 for a commercial robot before maintenance and software licences. Humanoid day rate: quoted per event.

Robotix Rent (Dubai). An events-focused rental company with a published Dubai pricing guide for 2026 covering service robots and humanoids, with delivery, setup and an operator. Humanoid day rate: quoted per event.

Event agencies and owners. A share of humanoid bookings in the Emirates is filled by agencies that own one or two Unitree G1 or R1 units, and by private owners renting theirs out. They rarely publish rates; ask for the robot's serial number and a video of it working before paying a deposit.

What does it cost to rent a humanoid robot in Dubai?

The rate depends on four things, and the providers say so themselves: which robot (a walking humanoid costs more than a wheeled service robot), how long (a day for an exhibition versus a month for a lobby), whether an operator and content are included, and branding. The shape of the market in 2026:

What is included when you rent one?

Usually the robot, delivery within the UAE, setup, a technician who stays for the booking, a scripted routine, a voice and personality configured to the brand, and, on RaaS contracts, maintenance and a replacement unit. Not always included: insurance, travel outside Dubai, content production, and extended hours. The technician is not optional in practice: a walking humanoid at a public event needs a person with the emergency stop within reach, and every provider staffs it that way. Venue requirements are a flat floor, an ordinary power outlet and Wi-Fi.

Should you rent or buy a humanoid robot in Dubai?

Rent if the robot is for moments, buy if it is for a programme. The arithmetic in dirhams: a G1 is AED 89,999 in stock at E-CITY, and a working first year adds roughly half that again in batteries, transport, an operator's time, spares and insurance, which puts owning at around AED 135,000 for year one. At the international benchmark of AED 10,300 a day with an operator, about 13 booked days equal that year; providers themselves set the switch point at around 100 working days a year with your own operator. Between those numbers, the practical rule is: rent for the first two or three events, learn what the robot is actually asked to do in your setting, then decide. What do people rent humanoid robots for in the Emirates?

Exhibition stands, above all at GITEX, where a humanoid at a booth is a foot-traffic device and a one-off marketing cost. Product launches and brand activations. Hotel lobbies and showrooms on monthly contracts. Schools and universities for STEM days. And pilots: a three-month hire of a robot is how a hospital or a facility company finds out whether a humanoid earns its place before a purchase. That last use is growing fastest, and it is the one the RaaS model was built for.
