E-CITY (Ecity Electronics). A consumer electronics retailer trading since 2008, with stores across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah and an online shop. It holds the Unitree R1 (AED 34,999) and Unitree G1 (AED 89,999) in verified UAE stock, sells to individuals and companies alike, delivers free anywhere in the Emirates, offers 0 percent instalments through UAE banks and covers the robots with an official UAE warranty and its own after-sales network. It also stocks Unitree's robot dogs from AED 9,999. This is the only seller we found that states stock, price, warranty and instalments on the product page.

A stockist is the right call when you need the robot soon, want to see it move before paying, or want a warranty handled in the country rather than by courier to China.

Who distributes and supports humanoid robots for institutions?

Ednex Automation. The authorised distributor for Unitree's G1 and H1 across Dubai and the GCC, focused on universities, schools, research labs and enterprises. The G1 is listed at AED 92,000 with about 30 days to delivery; the Unitree H1, the taller research platform, is on request. Ednex sells integration and training alongside the hardware, which is what a lab or a company piloting a robot usually needs more than the robot itself.

GulfNet Emirates. Lists the Unitree R1 in its Air, standard and EDU editions for research, education and embodied-AI development, priced on request. The EDU edition matters if you plan to write code: base R1 and G1 units ship without a development kit.

A distributor is the right call for a programmable configuration, a tender, an invoice that a procurement office will accept, and support that includes someone who has set the robot up before.

Who rents and services humanoid robots in Dubai?

KAYI Robotic. Offers robot rental for events and robots-as-a-service for hospitals, hotels and facility management, quoting daily rates for exhibitions such as GITEX and monthly subscriptions that bundle hardware, software updates, maintenance and replacement. Robotix Rent. An events-focused rental company with a published 2026 pricing guide for Dubai, covering service robots and humanoids by the day, with delivery, setup and an operator. Rates: quoted per event.

These are the companies to call if you need a humanoid for a launch, a stand or a hotel lobby without buying one, and they are also the first people to ask what a robot costs to keep running in this climate, because they do it every week. How do you tell a stockist from a middleman?

Four questions, asked before any deposit:

• Is the robot in the country now? "In stock" should mean a serial number you can see. A 30-day lead means it ships from China after you pay.
• Whose warranty is it, and where is it serviced? An official UAE warranty means repairs in the Emirates; a "manufacturer warranty" alone may mean shipping the robot back.
• Are you authorised by the maker? Unitree lists its regional distributors; a reseller buying from Unitree's public store and adding a margin is not the same thing, and its price should reflect that.
• What configuration is it? Base, EDU, or dexterous-hand versions of the same robot differ by tens of thousands of dirhams and by whether you can program it at all.

We compared the public pages of the five companies above in early September 2026 on those four points: one states all four on the product page (E-CITY), two answer them on request (Ednex, GulfNet), and the rental companies answer the warranty question by never transferring ownership. That is a reasonable market for a category this young. It will be a better one when a second brand arrives.

Which brands are missing from the UAE, and who would bring them?

Everything that is not Unitree. The 1X NEO plans international deliveries in 2027 with no regional partner named. Chinese makers AgiBot, UBTech, EngineAI and Fourier sell into the Gulf by quote or through Dubai Future Labs and event companies rather than through a retail shelf; AgiBot's rental model runs through local partners. Tesla, Figure, Agility Robotics, Apptronik and Boston Dynamics have no UAE channel for private buyers.
